American media has a field day with Boko Haram videos!

The American media is having a field day with this nonsense about Boko Haram – rumored to be CIA backed.

Back to Islam bashing.

The video/s of the Boko Haram conveniently forwarded to CNN (!) gives the neocons perfect excuse to put additional boots on the ground in Nigeria to steal their oil as prescribed by the Israeli-based think tank, IASPS who opined in 2002 that the US should turn to Africa for its oil and Israel should control the oil in the Middle East.  How convenient.  http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=African_Oil_Policy_Initiative_Group

A few years later, Chatham House made clear what the intentions are:  http://www.chathamhouse.org/sites/default/files/87_4stokesraphael.pdf

There is another side to all this – and I have this dire prediction.  I pray that I am wrong – in fact, I hope I am off the wall on this.

A few days ago, the EU asked for an investigation of the Odessa massacre

Course, this is the same EU that refused to acknowledge and investigate the Maidan sniper shooting in spite of the leaked conversation.  But my feeling is that US/NATO would never admit to a false flag, or admit that their 'guys' - the coup regime and fascist therein are responsible . How would they explain it?  Either blame it on Russia, which no one will buy, or worse, blame it on the Tartars . After all, for over 2 decades the West has created Islamophobia and the ignorant are too ready to accept that Moslems are responsible for ghastly acts.  It would be a way out for all.   The ground work for this was laid.   Here is an excerpt:
"In addition to enthusiastically assisting the German and Romanian invaders with massacring Crimean Jews and hunting down anti-Nazi partisans, Crimean Tatars joined a specially created SS Regiment: Tataren-Gebirgsjäger-Regiment der SS (The Tatar Mountain Jager SS Regiment), akin to the numerous SS divisions, regiments, and brigades made up of Soviet and Balkan Muslims."

I believe it is important to keep an eye on these developments.

NATO surrounding Russia

Interview with RT on Kerry's remarks and NATO surrounding Russia. I regret that only a very small portion of the interview was aired. But I think it is important to reiterate several points -
Isaiah Bowman, a key figure in the Council on Foreign Relations wrote that “The measure of our victory will be the measure of our domination after victory." This was said in1941, but it became far more pertinent in 1991 and what we see the US do today - as it has been doing for decades - shooting for total domination.
True to this, after the Cold War, Prominent Americans such as Wolfowitz, Rustow opined that it was important to contain Russia (the Heartland – Defense Planning Guideline1992, later repeated by Rustow in 1993, and course the well-read Chess Board). It was felt that the domination of Heartland (Eastern Europe, Russia, Central Asia) would lead to domination of the World. 9/11 made this possible and many countries unwittingly cooperated to help America achieve its goal of global domination under its pretext of war on terror.
The renewed containment policy also explains the astronomical amount of US aid to Eastern Europe after the fall of the Soviet Union. This was in the same exact pattern as the Marshall Plan.
The creation of Marshall Plan in 1947 to give aid to war-torn Europe had already pumped $13 billion dollars. This deterrence was to “protect” Europe from falling to Communism, had the added benefit of helping American businesses. While showcasing American generosity, Europe had to turn to the U.S. for its goods which in turn had to be shipped on board American vessels. American economy prospered and communism was kept at bay.
Same concept here with Eastern Europe. The aid was to use these countries as a counter to Russian rise (contain) but also to build a buffer. The most immediate foreign policy objective for the British Empire (passed onto American Empire) was to prevent any kind of alliance or bloc between Germany and Russia, and to keep either one from dominating Eastern Europe. Hence strong buffer states needed to be formed between these two great powers.
Merkel would be foolish to follow America/NATO in yet another adventure as it did Afghanistan, etc. As we can see, NATO, or Western Europe NATO is reluctant to get involved with America’s expansionist agenda, so the Americans are relying on Eastern European countries they have bought. As Donald Rumsfeld said in 2003 (about Iraq), 'Old Europe' will be a problem.
I think and hope that “Old Europe” will be a problem with regard to Ukraine. No wonder Chuck Hagel visited Brussles in 2013 to ask NATO allies to contribute more and not rely on the US which has bought NATO with 75% contributions it makes. Less than a handful of countries have obliged America.
Not only does Kerry want to bolster the domestic image of the Obama administration, but to reassure Eastern Europeans who are aiding the US in its agenda. But Kerry’s huff and puff speech only reflects America’s weak position in this situation. As with Iraq, they love to show that this is a “multi-lateral” effort. Not exactly a strong union!
Perhaps the biggest fear I have, specially with Brennan visiting the coup regime in Ukraine, is false flag operations to win over the reluctant NATO allies.

The Legality of Theft

This is a repost of a 2005 article which is very relevant today.  The post was published on Iranian website Payvand.com

The Legality of Theft
By: Soraya Sepahpour-Ulrich
‘The greatest evil is to convert the law to an instrument of plunder’

There is no doubt the United Nations has become the organization that converts law to an instrument of plunder.  Shortly after its formation in 1945, it made it clear that it would speak for the might and ignore what is right. So it was that in 1947 Palestinians had half of their land taken from them and given to Jewish migrants.  Today, the Palestinians do not have a state, per se.

Mute observers world over watched as the United States and Israel violated one law after another, covertly, overtly and ruthlessly under the subservient gaze of the United Nations.  Allies traded their dignity and conscience for the benefit of trade with the empire.  United States, the pied- piper led the pack to moral degradation; greed and fear prompted the allies to cave in.  Having illegally referred Iran to the UNSC by coercing members, Mr.  Bush’s farewell trip to Europe must have incorporated serious arm-twisting for the  European Union once more bent to his will and imposed further sanctions on Iran at their own detriment.  Once again America was successful not only in deceiving the Security Council members but also it used UN to alter the law.

Ironically, while Mr. Bush was successful in prohibiting trade with Iran, the United States enjoys the benefits that come with trading with a shunned state of his making.  With uranium at an all time high as result of demand, the Bush White House has turned to Iranian owned mines in Africa.   According to Reuters “Iran, which the United States accuses of secretly pursuing nuclear weapons”,  has a stake in Rossing Uranium Limited, the world's biggest open-pit uranium mine in the African state of Namibia”[i] .  It is not just the oil that must be plundered by the U.S., the UN helping, but precious uranium.

Mr. Bush has demanded that Europe seize trade with Iran, no doubt forcing it make favorable deals with trade partners, and hoping that America will not bomb it to oblivion.  However, the likely scenario of America committing genocide so than it can loot all of Iran’s wealth, similar to Iraq, is a more likely scenario.

UNSC members Russia and China should pay heed to America’s actions.  According to Azar Gat, Ezer Weizman Professor of National Security at Tel Aviv University, while slam is not a viable threat unless weapons of mass destruction fall in the hands of non-state actors,  the “nondemocratic great powers” China and Russia “now operating under authoritarian capitalist” are a threat to democracy and a free world.  Her opinion is that for the survival of democracy these are to be reckoned with,

China has financed the Iraq war, a war that has bankrupted America; yet Mr. Bush is planning a third war against Iran at the behest of Israel.  Neglecting the badly needed healthcare, improved educational system, and the creation of jobs by improving the infrastructure in this country, he is jeopardizing America’s future.   ‘The greatest evil is to see the conversion of the law to an instrument of plunder’ and remain silent.

Sy Hersh on Erdogan's role in Syria

There is no doubt that Turkey had a heinous role in Syria.  It accommodated the passage of terrorists, "opposition", and charlatans like John McCain.   But undoubtedly, for some time, there has been an attempt to undermine Erdogan (by neocons since 2009) and this has picked up pace as of late. I think that Erdogan was perhaps not as willing lately to cooperate.   The Sarin gas story has very important holes in it.

Let us not forget that it was Israel that provided the US with “intelligence” about who was responsible for the attack, and the alleged phone conversation they heard!  Additionally, according to the UN report two types of rockets had been used, including an M14 artillery rocket bearing Cyrillic markings and a 330-millimeter rocket of unidentified origin – though perhaps not so unidentified. Shortly after the August incident, Foreign Policy published and made mention of these mysterious rockets which according to former UN inspectors bore a strong resemblance to a 1970’s American weapon—the SLUFAE . Although SLUFAE had been shelved, the concept was built upon by several countries—namely Israel. According to the former UN inspector, "a very similar munition was found 3-5 years ago, during one of the Israeli excursions," into Southern Lebanon”. Further, there is the strong possibility that the rockets with Cyrillic markings (attributed to the Soviets) can be traced back to the “Bear Spares” program.
The Bear Spares program was devilishly clever in that it armed conflicts with captured weapons (such as Iraq).  Both Israel and Egypt made the "Bear Spares" program feasible – major contributors.  Neither country has their chemical weapons under scrutiny  - they have not signed the chemical weapons treaty.   We have seen how Egypt under el-Sisi has become Israel's close ally against others.

As for Erdogan,  the neocons continue to undermine him.  See for example:

"Questions remain, however, about whether the AKP tampered with the elections. There were also power cuts in 40 of Turkey’s 81 provinces during vote counts. Alleged lost ballot boxes have also sparked public outrage on social media over election fraud. These charges, coupled with ongoing corruption allegations, will continue to create headaches for the AKP, even as it celebrates its electoral success." - See more at: http://www.defenddemocracy.org/media-hit/turkeys-akp-wins-local-elections-but-challenges-remain/#sthash.krgUwmzG.dpuf

I do not like Erdogan, I am very troubled by Turkey’s role in the region, especially Syria, but I am even more troubled by this article making the rounds while Israel steals Golan oil and water and more land.    I don't think Erdogan had as much to  gain from an attack on Syria as some others – specifically Israel and Saudi Wahhabis.

At the same time Turkey is essential to the plan as water is needed for Israel, and is a major reason for the assault on Syria (pipelines from turkey through Syria for Israel).

Ukraine: America’s Midas Touch – Again!

‘All that glitters is not gold; all that shivers is not cold’

Mythology has it that Midas, the king of Phyrgia, was able to turn everything he touched into gold -- ‘the Midas Touch’.  According to Aristotle, the legendry figure died of starvation as a result of his greed to transmute everything from its natural substance to gold.    This myth is a tragic reality when it comes to America and its neocolonial adventures; America’s reach into Ukraine may well be the ‘touch’ that will end America as we know it today.

For decades, American neocons[1] have engaged in coups, false flag operations, covert and overt wars in order to institute their goal of global domination.   The end of the Cold War emboldened them and 9/11 enabled them.   Nations and societies became battlefields facilitated by the concept of ‘jihad’ versus‘crusade’[i] thanks to neocon Bernard Lewis who initiated this idea.   As country after country fell to America’s ruthless touch --  Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, (attempts in Venezuela and Iran), little attention was paid to covert activities against Russia (and China) considered to pose a challenge to America’s global domination.

Failrure of the 2004 Western-backed Orange Revolution in Ukraine, the massive 2006 protests in Crimea against NATO’s invasion with slogans such as "Occupiers go home!" which prompted the parliament of autonomous Ukraine  to declare Crimea a “NATO-free  territory” (Euronews archive), sent Washington’s neocons into a spin mode, especially since NATO and U.S. have been trying to encircle Russia since 1991.

Azar Gat, Ezer Weizman professor of National Security at Tel Aviv University writing for the powerful and influential Council on Foreign Relations publication (Foreign Affairs, July-August 2007) emphasized ‘the significant challenge emanating from China and Russia operating under “authoritarian capitalist” poised for a comeback. ‘
Global domination demanded curbing Russia (and China).   Depriving Russia of its Black Sea Fleet in Crimea and  Russia’s access to Syria’s Tartus Port are no doubt a crucial part of this strategy.   As importantly,  Russia’s gas exports to Europe had to be curbed.

To this end, overt and covert actions were put in place.  CIA/State Department propaganda voice, Radio Free Europe, announced in 2010 that “Ukraine has been the target of democracy-promoting Western foundations, such as the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), for a quarter of a century” (well prior to 1991 dateline admitted to by Victoria Nuland).   NED’s counterpart in England, the UK funded Westminster Foundation for Democracy was an active partner in the endeavor.

It was the Westminster Foundation that coopted the “Ukrainian Foundation for Democracy” – The People’s First Foundation that later that same year would become a member of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).  Of particular relevance is the cast of characters who would shape things to come in Ukraine (to be discussed shortly).

“Democracy” promotion aside, the possible and likely role of United States Special Operations Command (USSOC) said to be present in 120 countries as of 2011, and growing (potentially in over 140 countries todate) mut also be considered.  Working with SOC is CIA’s Special Activities Division (SAD) and its departments Special Operations Group (SOG) and Political Action Group (POG), which engage in covert activities related to political influence and psychological operations.

As images of Cocktail Molotovs and sniper shootings and deaths found their way into living rooms across the globe,  Europe (Ashton) concealed doubts cast over Yanukovch’s complicity  in the  sniper shootings, facilitating his overthrow in trumped up charges.    There is no good reason for the Western backers of the mob government not to investigate the sniper killings unless a)they themselves were complicit, b) they  had full knowledge of the actions, or c) concealing the actions was in their interest.  No investigation has taken place to date.

Many scholars have voiced concern that the U.S. is backing neo-Nazis in Ukraine; never mind the neo-Nazis – the EU and the United States have embraced terrorism and have sided with terrorists over a democratically elected president.   Although there is no universal definition of terrorism, Title 22 of the U.S. Code, Section 2656f(d) defines terrorism as “premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.”

This must be an incomprehensible part of the US/EU “war on terror”!   These actions marginalize those of the marines in Afghanistan who urinated on dead corpses .  With their backing of terrorists, the US and EU partners, in effect, have urinated on the graves of all who died in the despicable ‘war on terror’, including Allied soldiers.

This much said, one must surely ask why it is that the Jewish community is supporting the neo-Nazis rise.  Why is it that the presence of Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers who led rebel groups has not been questioned and addressed?   Furthermore, why have Jewish leaders voiced  support for the coup and its leaders, and they have chosen to direct their anger and venom toward Russia and President Putin in a letter?

Perhaps, familiarizing oneself with the executive members of the aforementioned USUBC may cast some light on this bizarre behavior.  Especially noteworthy are  names and organizations among the senior advisors to the USUBC are from pro-Israel think tanks such as the Heritage Foundation and Brookings, and  Board of Directors executives selected from powerful players at weapons manufacturers such as Raytheon and Boeing (See http://www.usubc.org/site/recent-news/people-first-foundation-joins-u-s-ukraine-business-council-usubc).

Undoubtedly, the cast of characters and their involvement in Ukraine would help ensure the safety of the Ukrainian Jews – especially in light of the fact that Israel is poised to play a huge role in eliminating Europe’s reliance on Russian gas and supplying Europe with gas it has stolen from the Palestinians  - and Syrians.  Or as the New York Post put it last month:  “Israel’s fortune is Putin’s horror”

The planning of this “horror” has been in the making for some time. Perhaps the most revealing and interesting article is one penned by David Wurmser writing for the Jewish policy Center titled The Strategic Impact of Israel’s Export of Natural Gas.  Referring to the newly found stolen gas in 2009, he writes “Israel and its neighbor now sit atop roughly two years' worth of European consumption”.  He further suggests “even modest amounts of Israeli gas exports can carry significant strategic leverage”.  Wurmser opines that “The short-term inflexibility of gas trade and the difficulty of replacing disrupted supply also imply that energy prices for consumers and revenues for suppliers can be easily manipulated by marginal increases or decreases.”
Citing Europe’s gas vulnerability, Wurmser posits “Europe's grim reality could represent a unique window of opportunity for Israel to nail down long-term agreements and align export policy with a broader effort to reset Israeli-European relations.”
In December of last year, The Jerusalem Post reported that not only did Hungary seek Israeli gas as an alternative to Russian gas, but it also offered to Israel access to its state-owned gas storage and offered Hungary “as a central European distribution hub for Israeli gas”.
As recently as March 11, Rigzone cited Gideon Tadmor, CEO of Avner Oil, speaking at a conference in Tel-Aviv: “"With recent events in Europe... and the aspiration of different countries to diversify their gas supply, that puts another spotlight on our massive resources and transforms our story into a global one," (a must read).
It then should come as no surprise that the Ukrainian Jewish leaders denounce any threat from the presence of ‘neo-Nazis’ claiming that they can take care of themselves.  No doubt this is the case.   But will Ukraine, a state that is not one nation, survive the assault on its diversity and its sovereignty?   The unforeseen circumstances, the unpredicted reactions may well turn Ukraine into the last of America’s ‘Midas touch’.

[1] Former, self-confessed neocon Jacob Heilbrunn describes neoconservatism  as "a decisive respect a Jewish phenomenon," even if many adherents -- albeit a minority -- are not Jewish and even though most U.S. Jews are not neoconservatives.  Neoconservatives, he adds, both Jew and gentile, are bound by a "shared commitment to the largest, most important Jewish cause: the survival of Israel.”
